You Don’t Seem to Care

Sometimes I get lonely,
When I think of you.
How I have no one,
And I used to have you.
If only for a short while,
I used to.
You could have anyone,
Everyone likes you.
Me I can’t,
Nobody cares.
People say things that hurt me,
They make me feel bad.
For a while I had you,
And I felt good again.
But it came crashing down,
It was all around me.
And it hurt me,
And I miss you.
Sometimes at night I cry,
I think of you.
I even write for you,
Write about you.
But nothing comes of it,
Nothing will I guess.
You just don’t seem to care,
That I care.
