There Comes

There comes a time
When you cannot see the way
When life and love punishes you
For meaning what you say
There comes a time
When what you do is right
But people don’t see the good
They don’t see the light

There comes a darkness
That we must all go through
We must stand and face it
There’s nothing we can do
Inside that darkness
Where there’s no light
Keep in your heart
Everything that’s right

There comes a day
When you have to quit
When you give it all up
You’re thrown in dirt and grit
And by that day
You should finally know
Nothing lasts forever
Beneath cold snow

There comes a time
When dreamers dreams come true
When people finally find
There’s nothing they can’t do
For that time
Heaven and earth are one
Standing on a mountain
You can touch the sun
