Just to Hold You

I’d give up my life just to hold you,
Just to have you here for a while.
I’d leave my soul go in a moment,
If you would walk down the aisle.

And I don’t want to go on with life,
If I can’t keep you here by me.
I don’t want anything but you,
This, I hope you can see.

I’d give my last breath just to have you,
I’d give it without regard.
Just to hold you here in my arms,
I’d give up myself, it’s not hard.

And I don’t think that I can explain it,
There’s no way it could be done.
All I know is I love you,
And life, it isn’t much fun.

Let me hold you close in the night,
Let me hold you in an embrace.
Oh God, why can’t you hear me,
I don’t want to be alone in this place.
